Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP. However, there are a number of local services, listed below, that you are able to make self referrals to.

Mental Health – Wellbeing team
Our Adult Community Mental Health Services are the main point of contact for the majority of the Trust's service users. The teams provide support, including home based assessments and treatment, for a wide range of mental and physical health issues and learning disabilities. They are based in local communities so that they can be accessed easily and quickly and are integrated or work closely with the County Council in order to provide joint health and social care.

Hearing Advisory Service
Established in Hertfordshire in 1984 as Hertfordshire Deafness Support Association (HeDSA), the charity has gone from strength to strength. We run hearing aid clinics that support NHS Audiology departments in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Suffolk and West Northamptonshire,.
Hearing is a vital part of communication and we make sure hearing aids are properly maintained. We offer services such as drop-in centres, care home visits, lip-reading courses, social clubs, deaf awareness etc.
