I can always get an appointment without a long wait. The practice is efficiently run with a light and airy waiting room. The doctors and nurses are pleasant and efficient.
I was turned away from my appointment for flu jab as I was no longer eligible as I have had my baby in the roughly 8 wks it took to get an appointment. That is fair enough but I did check this with the surgery at the time of booking the appointment and was advised to still come and get the jab. It takes a lot to get out of the house when you have 2 children under 5 and a newborn so felt very annoyed and upset. I was also turned away from HH bloods drop in clinic a few weeks ago after being sent there by the surgery for blood tests on my 4 year old as they don't deal with children under 5 years old. V upsetting for my little boy after having prepared him. Surely surgery should know this?
I don't feel the surgery prioritized my test results, from what I could see only one doctor was In/ seeing patience and he was running an hour late. He was unable to help me , I made no progress and left with a number to call to get help... I am not happy with the surgery there is no continuity of care, or if you you want to see the same doctor the wait is two to three weeks. No good to me at the moment. On going issues, no ongoing care.
The Practice Nurse was professional, efficient and friendly.

Yes one of the main reasons is that I believe we really need to look at the neanderthal approach that our doctors surgerys have. For whatever reason and I'm not so sure that it is just that our doctors are busy, our doctor have a very poor patient relationship, they come accros as being rude and have little or no time for you, almost as if your just wasting their time. Appointments are difficult to obtain and so we choose to see any doctor now which is not bad but we fail to have any connection and this has a negative impact on the patient as we end up not opening up as much as we should. Overall Manor street surgery doesn't seem to have a good reputation, there seems to be negative reports on several of the doctors there. I've seen a couple of doctors there and on both occasions I've walked away feeling as though I've just been talked to like a little boy who has wasted his mother time, not good at all really.
Have been with Manor St for years and never had a bad experience
